The glow of the moon was the only light Bastian had as he padded though the unknown grounds. The lack of light didn’t bother the werewolf, his eyesight was superb. He lifted his snout and inhaled deeply, there was no scent of another male, no stake on this territory. This was good. For Bastian needed a home and he wasn’t about to become an underling. It was a rank higher up on the ladder or he was on his own. Bastian didn’t settle for less.
The dark grey wolf broke from the forest line and stepped proudly out in the open. He threw his head back and howled long and loud. This was his hand. Come visit him if you dared, fight him at your own risk. Bastian was young, but had alpha blood pumping in his veins.
